Our of pure curiosity, is there any possibility of adding a section on Transcendentalism to the AUC website? Given that this is a major part of the Unitarian heritage and religion I think it would be a good fit on the website...the Free Religion page right now is mostly deist, and there are only a few references to transcendentalism on the Christianity page.

It might also be interesting to have a page on Universal Theism (aka non-Christian monotheism, scientific theism), since this is another distinct part of the Unitarian heritage. Since Unitarianism has moved beyond exclusively Christianity, it might not hurt to have some resources for theists who think bigger than Christianity (aka the "One" that Dr. Dorris has written about so elequently)

I would be interested in helping gather information to putting these pages together assuming the AUC has any interest...let me know.
"it might not hurt to have some resources for theists who think bigger than Christianity"

I second that Smile
We will do our best. The trouble is getting people to write stuff for it. There is a link to a decent transcendentalist website on our Christianity page: http://www.vcu.edu/engweb/transcendentalism/
I'd be delighted to help write some stuff for the Universal Theism page, since this is more or less my view. Idk, perhaps ndemay would help?

Maybe the Transcendentalist page could simply be a brief overview with the above link?
I like the idea of a Universal Theism page.  I think most of what I post and/or write would fall into this category nicely.

With love,

Rev Dorris
Ditto (see my blog); I'll do what I can to help.
