To whom it may concern (NDemay?)

I was just curious as to how often the AUC Journal is printed. I received one after I became a member but it was a back issue from June of 2006...just wondering what the status on that is.

David Miano compiles the AUC Journal.  He has acknowledged that it is behind in its production schedule.  To get the journal restarted and a new one put out, he needs members and friends of the AUC to submit articles for print.  

He will accept articles on any AUC Subject.  A few suggested topics have been:

First topic:           What is the AUC about?
Related topics:  What goals would you like to see the AUC achieve?
                                Why did you become a member of the AUC?
                                Sharing Ideas for attracting more people to the AUC.
                                Who or What is a Unitarian?

Members and friends, please post other topic ideas that you would be interested in writing about or reading about.

I've already submitted two pieces. Other possible ideas:

-Liberal religion today
-Ruminations on the AUC's 7 Principles
-Universalism as it is related to Unitarianism

Thanks for the feed-back and the new ideas for articles.
The operation of the AUC and the journal needs to be the collective efforts of many people.  Now that we have a point of beginning, we must work together to keep it moving ahead.

I am almost finished with an article...my first...I work on it if starts and stops...and have to wrestle with keeping it focused and hope to come up with some meaningful conclusions.

Sounds intriguing...whats the topic?

A look at "Integral" theory and its implications for Unitarianism.....

Interesting! I look forward to reading that.

Another idea:

We could have a series of articles (brief) or one long article, reflecting on each of the 7 AUC principles. This could be introductions to be added to the websites.

I will work on the 7 Principles and see what develops.  Others can do the same.  We might get some interesting contrasts in views.

A new addition of the AUC Journal is currently being proof read.  It should be distributed soon, from what I am told.

I submitted an article on Our Religious Principles.  Keep writing and submitting articles to David so we can keep the Journal going.
