Anybody who thinks state run hospitals are the answer had better see how they are in real life...here is a story about a "flagship NHS" (British National Health Service) hospital....pretty scary.
Think of our County Hospitals or VA Hospitals as the standard of care for the massess who cannot opt out and afford "private" care.
Private hospitals...private health insurance...is booming in Britain..because of the pathetic state of government health care.
Yes, there are serious issues to address...but the more the market / consumer is able to make the decisions the better...IMHO.
