Finding information about the AUC is nothing short of miraculous. I came to the conclusions of faith exactly like those of American Unitarinaism almost a year ago and since then have been trying to figure out where I belong. I'm very isolated, being a stay at home dad and living in a very fundamentalist, conservative southern part of Texas.

Having discovered Unitarianism I now have a foundation for the faith I have chosen to follow. With this foundation I'd like to find others in East Texas who might share these views. If there are others in the area who want to develop a fellowship I'd love to hear from them.

Where do we go from here?

Ted
Welcome Ted.

Glad you found us.

Kenn
I find it amazing how many times in lives we find "just what we need" at just the time that we need it. Welcome my friend.
Good luck...I hope you can find a local community...even if small...to join with.
Hi Ted. I don't know how many of us there are in your area, but you can at least be assured you have an electronic community to be a part of here on our board.
Welcome to the forum.  A quick check of the forum members list indicates that 5 members are in Texas.  Of course it is a very large state, but maybe some are near your location.  Oklahoma and Arkansas also have members listed.  .Maybe they will contact you.

With love,

Rev Dorris
Welcome!
Hi! I am from West Texas, and I have lived in many Texas areas. There are usually those to be found with whom one can share religiously liberal beliefs, because Texas was founded not only by the bible-thumpers but also by pioneer iconoclasts.

Welcome from W. Texas!

Gail
Welcome back Gail,

I look forward to your participation.

With love,
