I don't.
I never though a modern Pope would pander to lobbyists. (Well, maybe I did) But the statements he makes pretend that there is not substantial and widely accepted evidence. Its smoke and mirrors. Cant wait to see what scandal its trying to downplay in the vatican.
Maybe next he will do a tobacco commercial.
We will agree to disagree.....as the Southern Hemisphere has record cold and ice...the north undergoing the same....time will tell....IMHO the whole man made global warming is junk science pushed by lefty-green-socialists.
Any climate change is part of natural cycles....in fact..we are entering a quiet sun spot cycle....things are cooling....there has been no significant increase in temp since 1998...etc. Consensus is not science. Models are poor predictors. Look at the just finished hurricane season and 2006..both total busts. Anyway....the coming decades will tell regardless of our opinions.

Stay warm....I am looking out on a nice winter landscape. I could use some global warming...think spring.
What burns me up (pun intended), is the government forcing us to give up incandescent light bulbs for the mercury filled CFLs. How can filling one’s home with toxic mercury be helpful for the environment?
I am going to stockpile incandescents....
Well firstly, the mercury isn't oozing from the bulbs (all fluorescents contain a small amount of it), and secondly, they require less energy which means less money going to worldwide organizations who don't have our best interests at heart. And the ones I use are made right here in metro-Atlanta, hardly a hotbed of green-lefty-socialists. Finally, the bulbs are long-lived and when they do die they are fairly easy to recycle.
Even if climate change isn't man-made, the solutions being proffered are still sensible (I mean when did efficiency, conservation, and self-sufficiency become leftist causes?!) and fit well, in my opinion, with the human duty to be responsible stewards of creation.
I have not found them to be long lived....very disappointed with them...plus fewer uses..outdoor lighting is an issue, light quality is an issue.....and they create a toxic site in your home with special clean up....most people are unaware of this. It would be nice if the recycling was more widespread...part of the city pick up...same with batteries. IF the technology improves....great.
that's odd; i use them in almost every socket in my 3,000 sq. foot home, and there's no noticeable difference in quality of light (and I need good light to see, as I am night blind and have a lot of trouble seeing in the dark). i think i had one expire early, and i've been using them for several years.
What brand do you purchase?
I started out with GE, but there's a locally manufactured brand-I don't know the name, that the Home Depot around the corner sells. It's the cheapest brand and as I said it helps the local economy. HD has an end cap and quite a bit of space dedicated to this brand...if I can find it I'll post it later.
The HD by me carries "Revision" in a green / clear package...made in China. Claims 9 yr longevity....sorry...not close...maybe 1 yr.
Probably plutonium.......
