Maybe: The Journey is the Reality. We learn and grow while we journey. Each time we reach a perceived end, it becomes a new beginning.
The Journey has no end unless we choose not to continue. This would be a shame because we would no longer be able to return to help and guide our brothers and sisters.
There are many stages or levels for us to attain in our development. We barely touch the beginning stages. For example, in Tibetan Buddhism, there are 14 levels, more or less. The state or level of a Christ, Buddha, and other great teachers is only the 4th level or maybe the 5th level that we are capable of achieving.
Prior to reaching this 4th or 5th level we must master and know the 98 stations plus the middle path of love or 99 stations total. Few have accomplished this without becoming stuck in one of the various stations. (If my understanding of Sufi mysticism is correct.)
It is not about genetics or environmental factors that control what we can attain. It is about us, as individuals, awakening to the potential that is within and all around us.
When we can put all of the above together, we can weave a most excellent carpet.
With love,
Rev Dorris
