Who will hear our prayer each day?
Who merits our worship and praise?
Who knows the God who takes pleasure in what men say or do?

Does any man or woman remain whose heart is filled with love?
Does any man are woman remain who is rich with knowledge and wisdom?
Do any remain who may be considered worthy Children of the One?

Who among you knows the gracious and loving God?
Who among you knows a God who will come quickly to your aid?
Who among you knows the bliss of the Sacred Way?

Do any men or women have the Spirit of the One?
Do any men or women still serve the One with love?
Do any men or women today walk or talk with God?

In ancient times, many claimed to receive guidance from God.
In ancient times many claimed to receive help and sustenance from the One.
In ancient times many claimed they were Children of the One.

Have we descended to a lower level than our ancestors?
Have we lost the will to walk as instructed by the divine?
Have we lost the ability and power to walk and talk with God?

Will the One respond to the prayer of men and women today?
Will the One share the light of the Spirit with anyone today?
Will the One find any who are worthy to lead others to the Sacred Way?

Have we turned our backs to the Way of the One?
Have we turned our backs to our Father and Friend?
Have we lost the ability to receive help and guidance from God?

Let us pray we still have among us lovers of God.
Let us pray we still have those among us who are guided by the Spirit of the One.
Let us pray we still have the ability to return to the Sacred Way.

Let us strive to be worthy to experience the sweetness of God's love.
Let us strive to be worthy to receive knowledge and wisdom from the Spirit of the One.
Let us strive to be worthy to be considered Children of the One.

Let us be of service to the One and our fellow man.
Let us be filled with the Spirit with an abundance to share.
Let us be shining lights for those who live in the darkness.

Let us be teachers, sages, and priests of the Sacred Way of the One.
Let us be observed in doing all our tasks with love.
Let us be worthy to be considered sons and daughters of God.

Let us be worthy to receive God's love and grace.
Let us be worthy to receive knowledge and wisdom.
Let us be worthy to be caregivers and guides.

Let us be worthy to receive the protection and care of the One.
Let us be worthy to have our thoughts, wishes, and prayers heard by the One.
Let us be worthy to walk and talk as Children of the One.

With love,

Rev Dorris
