Hi, everyone. I am a "seeker", a Christian in exile from mainline, trinitarian churches that did not find a good "fit" when I briefly visited a UUA congregation where I lused to live.
I am a 61 year-old Puerto Rican male. Spanish is my native language (English is my second language and the one I use where I live and work).
My religious pilgrimage took me from birth to now through memberships in Roman Catholic/American Baptist/Episcopalian/United Church of Christ/United Methodist/Disciples of Christ's congregations.
I have an M.Div. (in 1985) from a mainline Protestant seminary and received joint United Church of Christ/American Baptist Churches USA ordination twenty years ago.
I was a pastor for twelve years (1986 to 1998) but has worked as a mental health therapist for the last 17 years. As an open-minded, liberal, unitarian and inclussive Christian, I'd like to know if the American Unitarian Conference is the place where I can keep growing and blossoming.
