Guy from northern NJ here. Have been interested in Unitarian thought for many years. I have found local UUA congregations to be well meaning but also biased towards certain political and social ideals - I don't think I need expand on that here.

Welcome....I (and many others here) have the same problem. Hopefully, you will find some local Unitarians to fellowship with. I live in far NW Chicago area and did not have much luck.
