I’ve been a member of the forum for sometime now and I’ve never introduced myself.
I’ve had and interesting journey. I’ve studied everything  from Buddhism to Wicca and I’ve never found anything that has brought me the peace of mind that I’ve been seeking until I’ve found this site . Finally I’ve had the feeling I’ve come home.
I’m here not only to gain some lovely friends but to gain the guidance I so desperate need!! Not only am I gay(which has caused a lot of heartache, confusion, and difficulty when it comes to “religion”) I also deal with addiction(mainly alcohol) I’ve was sober in AA for 4 years. I fell off the wagon 2 years ago and have had a rough ride every since. I need my spiritual center back, and that’s why I’m here
All my Love,

Ohioguy,

Have you been back to AA? There have been members/posters on this board who have had similar alcohol experiences and found the spiritual part of AA helpful coupled with their own beliefs.
Welcome Ohioguy. I wish you well on your journey-or struggle-to sobriety. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to address such a problem. You are among friends here and I hope you remember that the power to change your life for the better rests within you. I hope you are able to find a group (AA) that will help you to realize that again.
How are you doing, OhioGuy?
I am kinda late replying and greeting you, but welcome. Where in Ohio, I am in Ohio as well.

How are you doing with your struggles?
hi there,
welcome, blessings
