Instruct me so that I may know your thoughts.  What do you think is true and false?  What are the proper thoughts and words?  How do I address the God most high?

Instruct me in the many ways.  All the ways ordained by the One.  How can I know each station?  How can I know the proper path to take?

As a priest teach me what is sacred.  Teach me the skills to avoid the profane.  What obstacles will be placed in my path?  How can they be properly removed or overcome?

Teach me the proper duties to perform everyday.  How do I know my words and prayers are heard?  What is the secret to receiving proper instruction?  Who is a worthy teacher and guide?

Who should be a priest and leader of the way?  How can mankind appoint a priest that should be called by God?  Such an honor should not be taken lightly.  God appoints but man must freely choose.

Life changes with each day and hour.  Months go by but we see little that changes.  How can we progress when nothing is done?  How can we say we love to serve when nothing changes?

Time slips away as we sit and wait.  Over and over we address the same questions and troubles.  How can we be wise when we go in circles?  Is there one who is worthy to be our leader and guide?

Help me to understand the plight of mankind.  Help me to know the proper way to worship and pray.  Help me to know the proper role and station for me.  Which of the hundred paths is proper for this day and time?

I know each of us has the free will to choose.  I know each of us has the strength to do what needs to be done.  I know that life is wondrous and always changing.  I know few will walk the path as a worthy child.

Each day we see the working of the Spirit all around.  Each day we see mankind turn away from the task.  We consign ourselves to a world of anger, fear, and hate.  Who will step forward as a leader and guide on the path of love and light?

Our opportunities are slipping away.  Mankind is creating a realm of animosity and hate.  Our world is being destroyed by many factions.  How can we come together on a path of love and service to all?

Will you step forward as a leader and guide?  Will you follow an anointed teacher and guide?  Will you accept the Spirit of the One to guide your steps each day?  Will you accept the robe and yoke of love being placed upon your shoulders?

Exuse me, Awhile ago you posted a prayer and named it Saint Theresa's prayer. This is incorrect. This prayer was written by a SGT Debra Gipson. She wrote it, along with the speech that
accompanied it, when she was asked, 10 years ago, to be the keynote speaker at a Black History Month Celebration in Pittsburgh. She gave that speech 30 days after my son's death, to help her understand why the God that she had so lovingly served had chosen to call home my then 15 month
old son. The first time she personally received the prayer it was in an email that she opened while in Atlanta. She was furious! Then, it was called an "ancient tantric prayer." I've later seen it called, "The Prayer of St. Christopher" but herself and my then secretary can attest that it was indeed me that wrote it which explains why you will not find a copy any earlier than February of 1998.
I hope that each of you is blessed beyond all measure. I hope that God
uses each of you to be a blessing to others.
Saint Teresa's Prayer

I believe in giving credit where credit is due. If this is your prayer you should get credit for it.

This prayer has circulated all over the world and has brought comfort to many people. It has affected many people in a positive way.

Welcome to the AUC .I will look forward to your particating in the forum.

Maybe one day a writing of mine will be as effective and well circulated as your prayer.

With love,

Rev Dorris
