This A.M. the door was knocked upon by a lady with books and pamphlets in her hands....I knew right away it was a JW.  She was pleasant but I politely declined her offer to read scripture etc.

A quick review of their theology:

To me....bizarre...but they share scorn from other denominations for their anti-trinitarian views....though much different from Unitarian.

"Jesus

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is the only-begotten Son of Jehovah. They believe that Jehovah and Jesus Christ are separate beings, and that the Holy Spirit is Jehovah's active force. Christ is regarded as the only means by which to approach Jehovah in prayer, and the means of salvation.[3] They believe that Jesus is the head of the Christian Congregation. They believe that Jesus is also the archangel, Michael, as well as Abaddon/Appolyon from the book of Revelation."
I'm going to start handing out copies of "The Age of Reason" to anyone who knocks on my door selling their faith Wink-
It's always interesting to discuss how we non-JWs should relate to the JWs, if at all. Personally, I've attended their annual Memorial several times in the last few years and have somewhat enjoyed the spirit of the event. Please don't ask me why.

If I were a present or former JW, I'd probably also be a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Reformation Movement. Yes, that is an active group.

As a student of bumper stickers, I look for them on the cars of a Kingdom Hall parking lot from time to time. They are almost nonexistent. You might occasionally see one with a message like "Keep on truckin'". I used to think JWs were mainly poor and lowly people, but the cars in a K.H. lot in St. Paul suggest that at there may be some fairly swanky sisters and brothers in attendance. Of course, not all believers travel to their meetings by car.

Interesting-I didn't realize there was a reform movement among the JW's. Best wishes to them.
"I'm going to start handing out copies of "The Age of Reason" to anyone who knocks on my door selling their faith"

If they thought "Age of Reason" was a theological book, they would not take it because they don't read any material but their own. My dad tried to raise me JW (still have his book collection) so I have a little insight to the group. They don't stay at my house long because they can't pigeon hole me in any theological stance that they are familiar with.
