Day
1. Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come
to call not the righteous but the sinners (the ignorant). Mk 2.17
2. Here are my sisters and brothers! Whoever does the will of God, the Father, is my
brother and sister. Mk 3.34-35
3. To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside,
everything comes in parables. Mk 4.11
4. Do not fear, only believe.
Mk 5.36
5. You abandon the instruction of God and hold to human tradition.
Mk 7.8
6. Listen to me, all of you, and understand; there is nothing outside a person that by
going in can defile, since it enters not the heart. Mk 7.17
7. Evil intentions; Lust, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly.
All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person. Mk 7.21-23
8. All things can be done for the one who believes.
Mk 9.23
9. If any of you put a stumbling block before one of the children who believes my teachings,
it would be better for you if a great millstone were hung around your neck and you were
thrown into the sea. Mk 9.42
10. The cup that I drink you will drink; and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you
will be baptized; but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant.
Mk 10.39-40
11. The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve.
Mk 10.45
12. Is it not written, 'My House shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.'
Mk 11.17
13. Jesus answered them, "Have faith in the One God, our Father."
Mk 11.22
14. If you do not doubt in your heart, but believe, that what you say will come to pass,
it will be done for you. Mk 11.23
15. Teacher we know that you are sincere, and show deference to no one; for you do not
regard people with partiality, but teach the Way of God in accordance with Truth.
Mk 12.14
16. Is not this the reason you are wrong, that you know neither the scriptures nor the
power of the One God? Mk 12.24
17. He is God not of the dead, but of the living.
Mk 12.27
18. Hear, O Israel, the Lord Our God, the Lord is One.
Mk 12.29
19. Then the scribe said to him, "You are right, Teacher; you have truly said that
"He is One, and beside Him there is no other; and to love Him with all the heart and
with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and 'to love one's neighbor as
Oneself,' -- this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Mk 12.32-33
20. Jesus said to them, "Beware that no one leads you astray. Many will come in my
name and say I am he (God), and they will lead many astray. Mk 13.5-6
21. When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe
it. Mk 16.11

as Holy to the Lord, the Father. Lu 2.23
23. Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house.
Lu 2.49

was praying, the heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended upon him.
Lu 3.21-22

Lu 4.32
26. He said to them, "I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other
cities also; for I was sent for this purpose." Lu 4.43
27. Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I tell you?
Lu 6.46
28. My sisters and brothers are those who hear the word of God, our Father, and do it.
Lu 8.21
29. If you know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Lu 11.13
30. Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.
