And the irony is we've had several Unitarian Presidents in the past...John Adams, William H. Taft, Thomas Jefferson (er, well he was a wannabe lol).

I don't know. You don't see many high-ranking officials embracing different religions (though I must say I am encouraged by the fact that Congress finally has a Muslim, an 'out-of-the closet' atheist and 2 Buddhists-perhaps, to paraphrase Blazing Saddles, "in another 50 years they'll actually be able to run for national office in broad daylight").
William H. Taft was nearly a hundred years ago now- and if my history serves me right, the last major Unitarian candidate for President was Adlai Stevenson in the 1950's. It seems that the Unitarians had a relatively easier time producing Presidents back in the 19th century than they would today.
